Mark let out to 75th to anniversary of a rank the Hero of Soviet Union.

The decision of the Central Electoral Committee of the USSR from April, 16th, 1934 establishes the higher degree of difference – a rank of the Hero of Soviet Union. This position has been confirmed for the first time on July, 29th, 1936 It entered an order of delivery to Heroes of reading and writing СEC and Lenin's awards – the higher award of the USSR. On August, 1st, 1939 there was a Decree of Presidium of the Supreme body of the USSR «About additional distinctions for Heroes of Soviet Union». Articles 1 and 2 Decrees said: «With a view of special difference of the citizens, awarded ranks of the Hero of Soviet Union, the medal «Hero of Soviet Union» which is handed over simultaneously with assignment of a rank of the Hero of Soviet Union and delivery of an award of Lenin» is established. Decree article 3 made serious change to Position of 1936 according to which the rank of the Hero could be appropriated only once: «the Hero of the Soviet Union who has made a secondary heroic feat … is awarded by the second medal «Hero of Soviet Union», and … the bronze bust in the homeland of the Hero» is constructed. Article 4 entered an order of a construction of its bronze bust at the Palace of Councils in Moscow which building then went at full speed on a place of the blown up temple of the Christ of the Savior. Delivery of awards of Lenin at rewarding by the second and third medals was not provided. The medal description has been confirmed by the Decree from October, 16th, 1939 which also has changed the medal name: from this point on it was called as a medal «Gold Star». Position about a rank of the Hero of Soviet Union has in a new wording appeared on May, 14th, 1973, some changes have been brought in it by the Decree from July, 18th, 1980 New in it there was that at repeated and the subsequent rewardings of the Hero of Soviet Union by a medal «Gold Star» each time is handed over to it Lenin's award. Besides, former restriction of number of deliveries of "the Gold Star» to one person (triple) has been removed, thanks to what Brezhnev could become four times the Hero of Soviet Union (Zhukov in 1956 became four times the Hero bypassing operating then the Decree from 1939). In 1988 the given position has been changed again, and the order of delivery of an award of Lenin Geroju n is established only at the first delivery of a medal «Gold Star».
